Hartwell Maritime SRL was founded to address a clear, growing imbalance: Western European shipyards are struggling to find skilled trades — welders, painters, fitters, insulators — while Romania has thousands of experienced workers looking for stable, well-paid contracts abroad.
We're not a staffing agency chasing commissions. We're a workforce solutions firm built on long-term relationships — with the shipyards we serve and with the workers we deploy. Every crew we send carries our reputation.
Our founders bring decades of combined experience in operations management, international business, and the specific logistics of cross-border skilled labour. We know what compliance looks like, we know what a good shipyard contract should say, and we know how to build teams that show up and deliver.
